What Is a Medicare Advantage Plan?

Medicare Advantage Plans, also known as Medicare Part C, are health insurance plans offered by private insurance companies approved by Medicare.

These plans combine:

  • Medicare Part A (Hospital Insurance)
  • Medicare Part B (Medical Insurance)

Many Medicare Advantage Plans also include:

  • Prescription Drug Coverage (Part D)
  • Dental benefits
  • Vision coverage
  • Hearing benefits
  • Fitness memberships
  • Transportation assistance
  • Wellness programs

Medicare Advantage Plans provide an alternative way to receive your Medicare benefits while often offering additional coverage and cost-saving opportunities.

Linda Gordon Insurance Solutions helps clients compare plans carefully to ensure they understand what each option includes before enrolling.
